Let’s say it took over 15 yrs for me to decide what I wanted for my wedding ring. A little frustrating for my husband but it’s only once and it must be perfect. We’re extremely fortunate in having a large budget although we only spent $10 grand. I’d been checking out the VanRijk site often a few pieces almost fit the bill but we’re sold by the time I decided. Last week I saw the final solution. A beautiful ring. Fantastic experience at Van Rijk. Andrew was very gracious, knowledgeable and patient. He let us try on many watches before we decided on the right one. The selection of quality pieces in the store was impressive, and the prices were very fair. Highly recommended.

Bought my first ever Rolex at this store and could not be more happy with the watch and the service that was provided! As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with genuine smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. From the security guard to the store clerks, everyone was so kind and lovely to talk to. I also want to give a big shoutout to Mo for assisting me in choosing the watch. I first came in knowing little to nothing about Rolex but I really appreciated the way she took the time to educate me about the history of the brand and the watch itself. Would definitely come back here to get my next watch!

I went in to sell an old watch and was a bit apprehensive for the whole transaction but right when they attended to me for my appointment was just a perfect service and a very kind treatment. Fully transparent process and Mr. Alec was very very kind in explaining and showing why the pieces had a certain value. Truly a 10/10 service will recommend 100% and will be returning soon. Can’t recommend enough without even mentioning the collection of fabulous items they carry.

We found our perfect engagement ring here at Van Rijk! They have a very wide selection of rings to look at, which is refreshing after visiting so many jewellers that only do custom engagement rings by consultation. I had no idea what I was looking for - until I saw it, and that took looking through boxes and boxes of engagement rings. They were able to re-do the shank in yellow gold for a reasonable price, and the ring itself was much more affordable than it would have been had it been custom made. The staff were so helpful and kind. We are so grateful for their help ending our years-long search for a ring so we can finally get engaged!

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Van Rijk and Mo last week when I was in the store. They are both genial and easy to talk to. I was very impressed with the quality and the quantity of their watches. The selection of high end vintage and luxury watches is unparalleled in southern Ontario, maybe in all of Canada. Mr. Van Rijk has made it his mission to have first class merchandise and it shows! There was case after case of desirable watches, and Mo knew the provenance of each one. I bought a Rolex Explorer at a very fair price. The selection of vintage jewelry is museum quality. There's so many pieces it's overwhelming. Sadly, I won't be able to take my wife there, because I wouldn't be able to get her to leave! Thanks Van Rijk!

Kathy took her time walking me through different options, answered all my questions, and made sure I left with a piece I genuinely loved. I bought a Cartier Santos XL from them. I had the opportunity to go into the owner's office, we talked, and we closed the deal. The service is excellent, and they have a wide variety of watches at much better prices than in the United States. I left happy, although they are very tough negotiators. I came on a recommendation, and now I'm going to recommend them.
